Art Camp
Art helps children express their feelings and develop their creativeness. David and Carolyn Memorial Education Centre (DACMEC) conducted a 15 days art camp from 30th December 2012 to 13th January 2013 with the objective of helping the children utilize their winter vacation and enhance the children’s art skills. A total of 29 children between ages 6 to 15 participated in the program. The participants were divided into two groups. The Junior group included children between ages 6 to 10 and the Senior group included children between ages 11 to 15. The children who participated in the program were members of DACMEC as well as other community children.
Mrs. Samjhana Rajbhandari was the facilitator for the program. With years of arts experience, Samjhana has recently completed Masters Degree in Arts, has conducted four solo exhibitions and 45 national and international group exhibitions.
